This 93-foot tall musical instrument is being erected in memory of the 40 passengers and crew members on Flight 93. Near the entrance of the Flight 93 National Memorial, this uniquely designed memorial allows optimum wind flow to reach the interior chime chamber. Made of precast concrete and precisely-tuned chimes, work in Fall 2017 included a tower fill area and settlement. Spring 2018 will bring tower erection, plaza paving, lights, sidewalks, and benches.
