Building G renovations allowed Altoona Hospital to house its inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services in one building. This 111,000 square foot building also includes the hospital’s wound care, hyperbaric and ostomy services, as well as non-clinical departments like information technology, charge integrity, central scheduling and printing services. The building includes new classroom space for community education programs, as well as a data center, which is connected to the main hospital building with an enclosed walkway. There are two courtyards for patients to use.
