Located on the site of the former Pine Bowl, the DeGol Field is the home to Saint Francis University’s field hockey, football, soccer, lacrosse and track & field teams. Starting from scratch, proper drainage and irrigation was placed throughout the sports complex. Paving was completed under the artificial SportExe turf and for the eight lane track, jump lanes and javelin runways. Areas designated for pole vaulting and jumps include sand pits. An electric building was created for the field lights and pressbox, and bleachers were relocated to make way for a new grandstand. Fencing and gates were also installed to separate a perimeter walkway surrounding the new complex.
