The project consisted of a new 69,000 square foot office facility and a 6,700 square foot maintenance garage, both of which included a masonry façade with insulation and air-barrier over new exterior gypsum sheathing. Eight conference rooms, including a computer training room, are in the building. Built on 10 acres of reclaimed strip mine, three types of ground improvements were made. Rain gardens, forebay and water quality filters were also created to improve the quality of storm water runoff. About 310 parking spaces were created to accommodate 268 personnel and office guests. The total project value is $16 million.
