This 26,000 square foot, two-floor facility includes 11 chemistry and biology laboratories, one simulation laboratory, six faculty offices and two seminar/classrooms. The building earned a Gold Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, becoming the first LEED-certified building on campus. The building provides enhanced learning opportunities to students and faculty in the STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) fields. The nursing program is currently at capacity with 160 students enrolled, and this building will allow the program to grow to cover all facets of nursing.
