The addition to Penn State University’s Moore Building will consolidate the College of Health and Human Development’s psychology programs into one facility. Construction of the six-story structure included demolition of the building’s north wing. The project was constructed to LEED Silver standards using local, recycled, and renewable materials. The signature feature of the building’s east and west entrances is a two-story artistic wood wall. Leonard S. Fiore, Inc.’s carpenters and local fabricator worked closely with the designers to make this creative concept a reality.
