Kopchick Hall will be the hub of activity for everything science and math at IUP. On September 23, 2020, we broke ground on the new home of the John J. and Char Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Work will take place in 6 stages. This science building has 4 floors and a basement. There will be 72 faculty offices, 43 research lab modules, 16 flexible teaching labs with shared instrumentation spaces, 4 departments offices with 9 office spaces, and many collaboration spaces for group study, conferencing, and tutoring. The building is aiming for LEED Silver accreditation.
