Leonard S. Fiore, Inc. served as the lead prime contractor for this addition/renovation project. The $1.4 million addition began in September 2003 and was completed the following year in June 2004. The Blair County Jail is two-stories tall and connects to structures that are more than 100 years old. The facility includes 16 inmate cells, eight on the first floor, and the rest on the mezzanine. There is a community outdoor exercise room, and three multi-purpose rooms on the main floor.
