The 88,000 square foot building is used to conduct research and hold classes pertaining to biology and chemistry. It includes the latest technology and equipment, including laboratories for cell and tissue culture, atomic and magnetic resonance spectroscopy and chromatography, as well as a biological separations room. The building contains a microcomputer laboratory, lecture halls, seminar rooms, a board room, faculty and secretarial offices, study lounges, a darkroom and many other support spaces. The center offers a natural assembly area that can be used by the entire campus for gatherings.
