This development, located in the heart of PSU’s University Park campus, consisted of two different building projects totaling more than $100 million and was completed over a four year time frame. Throughout construction of both phases, Leonard S. Fiore, Inc. served as the lead contractor and fulfilled obligations on four separate prime contracts worth in excess of $43 million. Complicated utility relocations, large foundation wall systems, expansive curtain wall systems and difficult site logistics were all key components of the construction. As part of these projects, LSF also self-performed the installation of a new 150 lineal foot steam tunnel, along with various areas of steam tunnel reconstruction around existing lines. In the end, we closed-out the project with a satisfied owner and design team.
