The Fraser Centre is a mixed-use building located in the heart of downtown State College. It houses a hotel, retail space, a restaurant, conference center and condominiums. Leonard S. Fiore, Inc. is the Design/Build contractor.
The Hyatt Place faces W. Beaver Avenue and holds 165 hotel rooms, a fitness center, a conference center, a business center and a space for meetings. Created with state-of-the-art amenities, the Hyatt Place has been designed for modern comfort and convenience.
Target and H&M are enjoying their new homes, the Hyatt Place is expected to open at the end of April, and construction will begin soon on the Federal Taphouse.
50,000 square feet of ground-level retail space is offered with three entrances. H&M, Target, and the Federal Taphouse call the Fraser Centre home. The highly-visible, modern format opens with primary entrances at the corner of Beaver Avenue and Fraser Street, the corner of Fraser Street and Calder Way, and a mid-block entrance on Fraser Street opening into access for the hotel and conference center.
On floors 10-13, 26 condominium units hold 1, 2 and 3 bedroom condos and four penthouse units just a few feet from Penn State University’s main campus. Opening to magnificent views of Happy Valley, residents will enjoy large windows, luxury kitchens and chic finishes throughout their condos.
We held a Topping Out celebration in January 2016 as we placed the last beam at the top of the building.
